Acceptance
By using the OpenPocketCine app or this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use them.
License and source
OpenPocketCine is free and open source, licensed under the Apache License 2.0. The full source code is public. There are no accounts, no fees, and no subscriptions.
If you install the app from the App Store, that binary is additionally subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Optional Frame.io upload, when enabled in a given build, is a direct session with Adobe. Adobe's terms apply to that upload. OpenPocketCine does not operate the Frame.io service.
Unofficial monitor
This is an unofficial field monitor. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by DJI. Reverse-engineered protocol behavior can be incomplete or wrong. Always verify critical settings — recording state, exposure, and media — on the camera itself. Record from the camera body until remote roll is proven. Use on productions is at your own risk.
No warranty and limitation of liability
OpenPocketCine is provided “AS IS”, without warranties or conditions of any kind, as set out in the warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability of the Apache License 2.0. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the project and its contributors are not liable for any damages arising from use of the app, including lost footage, missed takes, or equipment issues.
Trademarks and affiliation
DJI, Osmo, Osmo Pocket, Osmo Action, Osmo Nano, Mimo, Apple, Adobe, Frame.io, and other names used in the app or on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. OpenPocketCine is an independent open-source project, not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them. No DJI SDK is included or required.
Changes and contact
Changes to these terms are published on this page and in the project's public repository. Bugs: GitHub Issues. Questions: GitHub Discussions.
